Ruth brings deep operations experience from the oil and gas industry, where process discipline, safety, and on-time execution are non-negotiable.

She’s also an entrepreneur who has launched and run multiple small businesses, giving her a practical, customer-first mindset and a bias for action. After taking time away to raise her family, Ruth returned to the workforce ready to build again—applying her operational rigor and business ownership experience to help scale GNS with consistency, responsiveness, and high standards.

Josh brings a proven track record in enterprise sales and sales operations across finance, venture-backed technology, cybersecurity, and commercial construction. He’s built pipelines, tightened sales processes, and delivered measurable outcomes.

Over the years, he’s led large teams, owned revenue targets, and built the systems behind repeatable growth. The teams he builds and leads thrive in complex, spec-driven environments—where timelines matter, details matter, and customers expect fast, accurate fulfillment.

Today, he applies that same disciplined approach to industrial supply—helping contractors and manufacturers reduce schedule risk by preventing fastener-related delays, simplifying sourcing, and ensuring the right parts show up on time.

David brings a unique dual perspective to executive leadership, bridging the gap between high-stakes institutional investing and boots-on-the-ground operational excellence. With over 26 years of experience, he has built a career defined by the ability to identify value where others see complexity and to build the analytical systems necessary to capture it.

His foundation was laid in the trenches of the credit markets, including 5 years in high-yield bonds and 15 years specializing in distressed and control-distressed situations. During this time, David did more than just analyze balance sheets from a distance; he sat on boards and served as a strategic advisor, guiding companies through restructurings to create tangible, long-term value for new shareholders.

As Head of Analytics for Caesars’ Gulf Coast region, he leveraged data to sharpen business decisions across a complex gaming and hospitality landscape.

As EVP of FP&A for a major construction firm, he implemented "best-in-class" technology and reporting standards, providing leadership with unprecedented visibility into business performance.

Currently as the SVP of FP&A for an industrial service company, David is focused on developing high-performing analytics teams and using technology to build a more agile, effective organization.

Steve brings decades of experience investing in and scaling companies, with a long track record of building durable businesses the right way—through disciplined operations, strong teams, and customer trust. In Texas, he’s best known for building a leading HVAC platform, with deep roots in Houston.

Today, he supports GNS Fasteners with strategic guidance and market perspective—helping strengthen our operational foundation, sharpen our growth priorities, and expand relationships across the contractors and service trades that rely on dependable supply.

Advisory Board Member | Strategic & Organizational

David brings more than four decades of executive leadership and governance experience to the GNS Fasteners Advisory Board. He has served as an executive pastor for over 45 years and has been the senior pastor of a church since December 1981. Dr. denHartog earned a Master of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary in 1974 and later completed a Doctor of Ministry at Phoenix Seminary in 1998. Throughout his career, he and his wife, Beth, have served on boards and councils around the world, offering steady leadership, thoughtful oversight, and principled decision-making. At GNS Fasteners, David advises on leadership development, organizational health, and long-range strategy—helping the company build a values-driven culture while scaling with clarity and discipline.

Beth serves on the GNS Fasteners Advisory Board with a background that blends board service, people-centered leadership, and licensed professional counseling. She has participated in boards and councils internationally and is known for her steady presence, discretion, and practical insight. In her advisory role with GNS Fasteners, Beth contributes to culture-building, communication, and team health—helping the organization strengthen trust, align leadership, and sustain a healthy operating rhythm as it grows.
